We have a wonderful opportunity for an experienced and passionate Disability Household Facilitator to join our team in Caloundra.
About the role
In this position you will be required to provide support to adult clients with disabilities alongside their families within their own homes. Using your managerial skills you will effectively supervise, train and support a team of staff within the community household. We highly recommend the successful candidate has experience with providing support and training to direct support team in positive behaviour support plans. Additionally, you will also be required to work shifts and be a part of the on call roster rotation as this will be a 24 hour community household.
Key responsibilities:
- Providing high quality support to clients with various disabilities
- Developing, implementing and overseeing schedules of appointments and activities with health professionals
- Ensuring clients’ personal care needs are safely, consistently and adequately met
- Undertaking direct supervision, support, training and development of Personal Care staff
- Recruitment and selection of new team members to ensure household vacancies are filled on a timely basis
- Ensure effective communication and coordination between CPL services, staff and stakeholders
